Abstract
In the title compound,$ C_{17}H_{14}O_{3}$, the conformation of the pyran ring is intermediate between sofa and half-chair. In the crystal structure, the hydroxyl and carbonyl O atoms are involved in O–H...O intermolecular hydrogen bonding, forming chains along the a axis.
