Abstract

In the title compound, C21H21BrN2O4S, the carbonyl group of the central propan-1-one unit is twisted by 14.7 $(4)^{o}$from the plane of the cyclic sydnone group (C2N2O2) to which it is attached, and an intramolecular C—H...O contact is formed to the exocyclic O atom of the sydnone group. Intermolecular C—H...O, C—H...S and C—H...$\pi$ contacts are observed.
