Abstract

The title compound,$C_{16}H_{18}N_{2}O_{2}S$, shows antibacterial and antifungal activities. The dihedral angle between the thiophene and 2-methylphenyl groups is $83.3 (1)^{\mathrm{0}}$. There are intraand intermolecular N–H...O hydrogen bonds, and C–H...O intermolecular interactions.
