Abstract

In the title compound, $C_{17}H_{18}ClNO$, the tetrahydroindole ring system is nearly planar, except for the dimethyl- substituted C atom. Molecules are linked via $C-H\cdot\cdot\cdotO$ and $C-H\cdot\cdot\cdot\pi$ interactions, forming chains along the b axis.
