Abstract

The molecule of the title compound, $C_1_5H_1_4O_2$, is non-planar and the planes of the benzene rings intersect at an angle of $459.8 (1)^{\circ}$. The crystal structure exhibits a significant short intermolecular $\pi$–$\pi$ contact.
