Abstract

The solution parameters of a multiparameter integral free energy function have been determined through regressional analysis of the experimental enthalpy and free energy data in In-Sb system. The function is represented as: $\Delta$$G^{XS}$ = x(1-x)((l-x)$(a_1+a_2T+a_3TlnT)$ + x$(a_4+a_5T+a_6TlnT)$ + $x(1-x)(a)_7+a_8T+a_9xT))$ The equation is found to be capable of interpreting high temperature thermodynamic data, atomic interactions and phase equilibria in the In-Sb system.
